Profil

This is Sigi Jakob’s first blog on teaching, eLearning, media and education.

I am writing this blog mainly in English as most people from my network speak or understand English and most advanced work is being done in international communities.
I do not expect that my blog will make a big difference to teaching and learning but I am convinced that it may be an example for other teachers and students to start their own blogs and ePortfolios. Hopefully some curious people will find their way to my blog and discover some useful entries or start a discussion on one topic or the other.
Many thanks to my networking friends and colleagues who have been spreading the word or linking me to their blogroll. Please feel free to leave comments telling me what you are interested in so I might adapt this blog also to your needs. Keep in mind that this is my first blog and that I’m quite new to this.
I won’t be able to write long entries like Steve Wheeler, John Pallister and also Graham Attwell – my main job as a teacher doesn’t leave me much time for going to interesting conferences or do experimental new stuff like Graham but I will try to keep you informed – as this is also a resource for me – on ongoing events and developments. So please, be patient.
